Understanding how cold water swim safely is non-negotiable for anyone interested in swapping the pool for natural blue spaces.

No matter how experienced you are in the water, the sea is an unpredictable place that can take anyone by surprise.



Who is more qualified and experienced to advise on open water safety than the UK charity that has been saving lives at sea since 1824, the RNLI. 

Since 2001, RNLI lifeguards have been looking after those visiting beaches and enjoying the UK coast.
