Pool parties don’t get much better than this.
The Red Bull Pool Clash isn’t your typical surf contest. It’s a freshwater take on competitive surfing, and this year it premiered at the O2 SURFTOWN MUC in Germany.

The weather delivered for the event’s German debut, providing a warm welcome to roughly 3,000 visitors who came to see Germany’s top-level surfing and talent.
Introducing a new contest format, the unique judging system emphasizes fun above all else, and competitors are awarded for their creativity, flow, and risk.

The event kicked off with the jam sessions. The best surfers progressed to the knockout bracket, and from there, it was two-surfer knockout heats until eventually a champion was crowned.

Friend of Dryrobe® and event host, Leon Glatzer, expressed his enthusiasm for the new concept:
"We have surfers who come from the ocean and surfers who only surf in the river—river and rapid waves—and that's a very cool combination because you see different styles and approaches to the wave."

Beyond the action in the pool, O2 SURFTOWN MUC was overflowing with good vibes and an inviting festival atmosphere, including side events, an after-show party, and a livestream.

Red Bull Pool Clash 2025 x Dryrobe®
We were proud to be a key event partner, helping surfers dry off out of the water and bringing some poolside fun with the Dryrobe® Change Challenge.

100-plus good sports took part in our challenge to change a shirt under the Dryrobe® as quickly as possible.
We want to congratulate our Dryrobe® winning podium finishers. First place took only 5.74 seconds, and second and third place were close behind, taking only 5.76 and 5.80 seconds, respectively!

The winners of the Red Bull Pool Clash 2025
The competition was tight, with surfers demonstrating the high level of talent in the German surf scene. With a mixture of mesmerizing elegance, precise cutbacks, daring moves, and narrow defeats, spectators were in awe throughout the day as the best surfers battled it out for fame and glory…and epic prizes such as an exclusive trip to the Aquarabia surf pool in Saudi Arabia.

The German Surfing Association (DWV) awarded Dennis Scharf and Lena Reinsch two wildcards for the 2026 Surf DM, an exciting indication that opens the stage for established and upcoming talent.
