Earlier this year, Lukas Skinner was crowned the U16 champion at the Rip Curl Grom Search European Final 2023 after an intense showdown at Anchor Point, Morocco.
The event brought together Europe's best young surfers in fierce competition during two days of epic surf conditions.
Since 1999, the Rip Curl Grom Search has assembled the best surfing talent from around the world, uncovering some of the most renowned future surfers including eight-times World Champion Stephanie Gilmore and two-times World Champion Gabriel Medina.
In the coming days, Lukas will be competing at Bells Beach, Australia at the World Grom Search Finals… and we can’t wait to see him shred! The event returns to its birthplace and competition will take place between April 1st and April 10th when conditions are best.
After three years on hold, the well-anticipated competition will see the National Final Champions from around the world battling it out to take home the title of the International Rip Curl Grom Search Champion.
