"Although I have not yet tried these out on first opinion they are comfortable (snug) fit nice comfortable lining and they appear nicely finished overall. The detachable finger/thumb cover fits nicely both open and closed with plenty of room for finger movement when closed. Also nice length so tuck under arm cuff of either robe or jacket. Will test in couple of weeks off to Norway."

Brilliant dual-purpose gloves / mitts

"These are going to be life-savers as a dog-walker over the Scottish winter. They are already proving warm, even on cold, wet days and it is so useful being able to manipulate clips etc, without having to remove gloves when your hands are already full of leads etc. Only things I would improve are the length - a little bit long, meaning extra fabric getting a little in the way, And the magnets could be a tiny bit stronger. But would definitely recommend. Thank you Dryrobe!"

Why are the thumbs so big???

"What can I say about the gloves…fabulous idea but the execution…. honestly leaves me baffled. I have small hands, ordered size small…when the thumb and finger mittens parts are clipped back…they are nearly perfect…unfortunately I need them to fit so I can do things when they are supposed to be in ‘ mitten mode’ when the thumb and finger mitten parts are also in use. The thumb part is a good 2.5” over the top of my thumb. Why? The same with the mitten cover. They are like wearing fingerless gloves and then putting an extra large pair of mittens over them?? Impossible to actually do anything when wearing them as the full mittens. The reviews going back years say this is a design issue?? Do not buy them till they change the sizing of the thumb and mitten flap"

"I bought this from a recommendation from a dog walker. I went to Sommaroy/Tromso in Norway and it was -18 when we landed . There were times it felt like -23 there but my hands were toasty all the time with these gloves. Thumb is a bit big but I guess it has to be for the magnet to work. Highly recommended. I used the size chart and I got a small. They fit well."
